As a process, editing is more rigorous than proofreading. If you are concerned with more than simply ensuring that your document or text is grammatically correct, then editing is the right choice for you. Each time we perform an editing task, we ensure that the final document or text possesses each of the following properties:

Proofreading
As a process, proofreading is less rigorous than editing. If your document or text already exhibits a high degree of semantic clarity and appropriateness/consistency of tone, then proofreading is the right choice for you. Each time we perform a proofreading task, we ensure that the final document or text possesses full grammatical accuracy.
